Educational objectives

At the end of this presentation, the participant will be able to:

Provide an overview of epidemiology and risk factor of thrombosis in Children
Discuss the current standard of care for children with venous thromboembolism
Explain the long-term complications of venous thromboembolism in children
Provide an overview of the facilities at Lurie Children’s for the treatment of children with blood clots
